Sourav Ganguly Parade with Ex-Captains on 100th Test


The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Wednesday announced plans to celebrate the 100th India-England Test, which is the first Test of the current series.
BCCI president Shashank Manohar, BCCI honorary secretary N. Srinivasan, ECB chairman Giles Clarke and ECB chief executive David Collier marked the occasion at the toss on the first day of the match through an exchange of mementoes between the respective Boards.
The highlight of the occasion, Today, at Lord’s, there was a parade of past players which included former captains of both countries such as Ian Botham, Bob Willis, Nasser Hussain, Ravi Shastri and Sourav Ganguly.
Former India and England captains and players were presented with a specially made commemorative cap at an on-field ceremony held during today’s lunch interval.
